Made this tiny snail with a real shell and polymer clay. He turned out real cute! I have more shells, and plan to make more little snail critters when I find the time.

To see more of my work look at my other deviations and also please check out my Etsy shop! :)

You are amazing! Really inspiring stuff! I was just wondering where you get the polymer clay from? Thanks, keep up the great work!

Thanks so much! I get my Sculpey clay from Michaels, you might be able to find it at any large craft stores, just keep an eye out if you're looking, and you'll find it. It's one of the most popular brands of that kind of clay.

That is one of the smallest little sculptures I have ever seen. Its really cool that you used an actual shell to integrate with the hand-made parts. It really is amazingly tiny.

Aww thanks all for your kind words! I never thought I'd get so much response for my little snail :) My only tool for this little guy was my own fingers and a safety pin. They work real well for tiny work, since they have a tiny sharp point that tapers at a sharper angle than a regular needle, giving you a tool for rounding, shaping, as well as drawing lines or poking holes.
