Sorry these journals are so few and far between... but I figure those of you who watch a lot of deviants have enough messages to read/look at anyways! :P

Well I finally have a brand new sewing machine that my dear mom gave me because my dad gave it to her for her birthday like last year, but she decided she loved her old sewing machine so much, and she never even got around to opening the new one so she decided to give it to me because I had told her I wanted a sewin machine. Yay! (Wow, long run-on sentence...)

I still am a little behind on my custom requests, but I'm also trying to produce some new things for my shop at the same time, as well as tackle all of my responsibilities and my other jobs. Arg! I feel like I can never be completely caught up on everything all at once. But that's life, right? You have to pick and choose between your priorities.

My goal is to post on dA a minimum of 1 new deviation per week, ship every Etsy order within 1 week of purchase, and get more sleep. I have set up my brand new printer, and gotten my computer area so much more organized, but also need to organize my art room (yes I am lucky enough to have a room dedicated solely to my artystuff!) and get my sewing machine set up within the next 2 weeks.

So I've been wanting to start sewing again and making non-crocheted plushies, and my first mini creation turned out real cute! I'm very happy with my pattern and I plan on making more Pocket Bunnies... but no two will ever look the exact same. I really really wish I had a simple-to-use sewing machine, but for now I have to make everything by hand. I don't have the money for a sewing machine, nor do I really know how to use and set up one.

Wish me luck, and does anyone have any suggestions for kawaii/simple small plushies? I don't want to make anything too big or too complicated yet, even though I do have the sculptural know-how to produce more complex stuffed toys. I just don't have the time or patience for big things with lots of pieces to sew together :)

0_O Woww! I go get married and on the very same day my Pokemon Fingerpuppets get chosen as a Daily Deviation? That's so cool! Wow, views in my Etsy shop just exploded on the 28th and I couldn't figure out why... until I saw that they came mostly from dA.

I'm so honored, I haven't had time to read ALL the comments yet but there are so many nice people out there, thank you! :) I'm super pleased!

I just submitted a work to the dA Cute Monsters contest... please voteh for me? I made the whole design from start to finish using Adobe Photoshop. I think it's very cute, had good line quality, works well in the practical aspect of a t-shirt design, and I spent a good deal of time on it. That makes it deserving of a vote, right? :)

Thanks guys! *heart* you!

Is called Wubbly SquishMonster!

Just added some new pictures here, as well as some new listings in my Etsy shop.

I don't wanna work tomorrow... but I guess I need the monies. Hopefully I will stop being lazy and clean off my art desk tomorrow so I can get back to making new clay art pieces. I haven't made anything new in that department for quite some time. Been busy busy busy working on my new release of the Little Hoots. I wanted to call them Little Hooters but finally decided it might not be appropriate, even though it's funny lol

My current art priorities are:

Producing items for the 2011 Anime Oasis
Developing new long-term items for my Etsy shop
Creating more holiday items, especially Easter which is coming up

Take care all, thanks for watching me, and reading my journal :)

Any suggestions are very very much appreciated.

Yeah so I figured out how to reset my DA password! After a million error messages, it finally somehow worked, so here I am again. I will add many more pictures of my Etsy work, in hope that it will up my views a little bit. And maybe even make a few sales? :)

Darn... I should have like, 50 deviations up by now... but after all the effort of making stuff, taking pictures, editing the pictures, coming to my parents house to use the internet to put up my Etsy listings, thinking up and writing descriptions for said listings... I never feel like putting the stuff on dA too!

I need some motivation. Like a giant Mountain Dew slushie. I wonder if the Phillips gas station over there still sells them...

Do you ever have one of those days when you just don't feel like doing anything, and even when you do accompish a few things, you still feel like you did nothing the whole day? Insert the word "year" for the word "day" in that last sentence, and that pretty much sums up my life.

Nah... It's not that bad... I'm just feeling... melodramatic today.

Time for a caffeine slushie!

Jents are relatively benign demons that live between Earth and Hell in a region known simply as the Between. It is a land of many unknown horrors and fascinating creatures, both evil and benign. Most beings there fit into the classification of demons. Some have a purpose, to keep the even darker and truly evil creatures from Hell locked away in their prison, and others simply exist for what they are.

Little is known about Jents due to their very secretive nature, and also due to the fact that while at least some part of a Jent stays within a shadow, they can remain completely invisible. They can also run very fast. Noone has been able to clock their speed yet because they usually zip past in the dark, invisible.

What we do know about Jents is that they seem to live in some form of organized society, possibly with family groups forming the basis of their social structure.
Jent sightings are rare, but share common characteristics. Just before one is seen, those present usually experience a sharp, sudden fear described as first penetrating the mind and then sucking the breath out of the lungs. It is so unexpected and shocking that a period of silence follows for several seconds, and then the Jent will appear briefly.

Jents would appear to be carnivorous due to their sharp teeth, but no Jent has ever been seen preying upon another organism. It is rumored that they actually eat silence, but there has been no substantial evidence recorded to support this theory, only conjecture based on witnesses of Jents and the "silent fear phenomenon" that is associated with the sightings.

Jents can vary quite a bit in appearance, but all share these common characteristics: large ribcage, quadrupedal body structure, long canine tusks protruding from the upper jaw, two long, ridged horns protruding from the back of the skull, a ridge of spikes along the neck and spine vertebrae, and incredibly long forearms in proportion to its hind legs. Some have tails, but most do not.
Today was really nice... I like it when I have Sundays off. In fact I don't work again until Tuesday night! Woohoo, my weekend has just begun! :)

So on Saturday night I decided to be dumb and not go to bed, and I spent about 3-4 hours on Photoshop working on this totally AWESOME demon picture. It's beautiful, a little horrifying, and I will be posting it tomorrow.

There are two sides to my art: there's the me who likes little cute things, and the me who EATS little cute things while slithering through your nightmares.

I really do enjoy dreaming that I am a demon. It happens often enough that I'd say it's a pretty regular thing. It's pretty darn cool - I mean, who wouldn't enjoy dreaming that they are a creature blacker than a shadow, with sharp fangs and horns and a face that would send its own mother after it with a flaming pitchfork? When I become a demon, it is to defend myself from other evil creatures. Because if I am one myself, a horrifying one that even other demons are terrified of, nothing can touch me.

I own the darkness.

On the other hand, I also like bunnies and baby unicorns. ^_^

Hi! I'm new to dA. I joined at the urging of a good friend of mine. Not sure how everything works yet, really, but hopefully I'll be able to find my way around soon.

A few random things about me: I have a bachelor's degree. I live in my own apartment with 2 pet fishtanks, 1 feeder fishtank, and a SNAKE who eats them feeder fish. I'm good at math and English 'n stuff. I hate bad spelling and grammar, but sometimes I type stuff wrong anyways on purpose. I like spiders and wolves. I hate licorice. I like crocheting, drawing, and making little animals and cute things out of polymer clay. I try to sell my stuff on Etsy. I play the piano. :fuzzydemon: DEMON!!! I am rather weird, in a conservative sort of way.

My goal for dA: To spread my love of tiny cute stuff and maybe attract some new customers to my Etsy shop.

Well I guess that's all for now. *explodes*
